Installing new motherboard

I am upgrading to G41 Motherboard from 945 GCT M2. I have installed Windows 8 in the previous 945 mb and i want to know , can i directly add HDD which has been running in 945 mb to G 41 motherboad.

WIll My HDD run in the G41 MB too without formatting and installing new drivers of The new Motherboard?

windows 7 / 8 comes with many drivers so you may not need to install any drivers at-all - windows should automatically take care of this. Once windows done with driver installation and necessary reboots just check the device manager.
