icon problem

frnds from few days i m not getting volume & safely remove hardware icon from my task bar, some time it show but mamimum time it doesnot visible at all. i had done this process control panel>sound & devices>volume in that place volume icon in task bar is enabled but it doesnot work at all. & most important all my usb ports doesnot work at all, i had formatted my pc twice but the problem is the same at last i use expandable usb port & its work good .plz resolve my problem i have scaned my pc with avast antivirus updated one..

Did u checked if the icons in the task bar are hidden ? I mean there are a small arrow towards left side that minimizes the task bar items, click on it to reveal the other hidden items.
