Don't be panic.

First thing first know the brand and the model number to do that
Start-Run-msinfo32- System summary - look for System manufacturer and model. Note it down.

go to google and look for the same model number you will definitely be getting some positive results.

lemme know once you are done!!!

if you find it difficult , open the CPU cover and i hope that u know which part is the motherboard , just note the manufacturer and model no. , visit the manufacturers website and download drivers from there !

ms info won't give you all the information in detail, so do one thing try to get tune-up utilities or similar kind of softwares, even trail version also is enough, install it on your pc,then open tune-up and see the total system information in "system information" at customize and analyze tab:
identify all your devices models and download the appropriate one

Q1. no it's not possible , it will show error saying "mixers are not available"

One more thing first uninstall your sound drivers and then install tune-up and see all your device models

dude your's realtek AC'97 drivers, first you uninstall the present version and browse net for the update drivers of real tek AC'97 , they may be around 3.0 or 4.0 or some higher
