I cann't open files with the extensions like .xml, .doc etc

I am facing a problem that I can not open a MS Office application files with the ext .xml, .doc etc. The error is :

" Error 1606. Could not access network location:. "

Anyone knows the solution? Then pls guide me.

This is Possibly you are opening file from Your Network PC
This has caused me one time
try this
Go to that path where your file is and double click it to open it dont open it from MS Word open it from Directly its path "My Computer"
