HTC One S or Xperia P

No need for any link. Just go to the One S forum, its filled with numerous threads discussing issues I mentioned.

Those "paper specs" don't mean a thing if it doesn't perform as good as advertised in real world usage.

And leave One S, even One X cannot match Xperia S camera. And too bad the Htc One X with SCLD2 and One S with SuperAmoled Pentile can't beat Xperia S screen in terms of overall quality.

I know a lot of people with both the One X and Xperia S who think XS has the better screen. I am sure you heard of the developer DoomLord ??
He has both XS and One X and he said camera and screen are both better on XS than One X.

And I didn't mean to start no war here, I just mentioned the issues that One S users are facing. Someone else posted about Xperia P having death grip issues and I just clarified that it was one off issue and its not a real issue.

You could have done the same, but no ! You decided take it too personally.

I never intended to bash the One S, in fact you can see I have even recommended someone on another thread to consider the One S. I even said the Xperia P and One S simply don't compare. The One S is a premium high end device and the Xperia P is just a upper mid range device.

alright, i am checking in XDA forum about it, but in terms of screen display I seen in my hand.. that Xperia S has good quality display but having viewing angle issue, on the other other hand HTC One X has overall very premium screen, even better colours than my old Galaxy S and looks same from any angle. Both take extremely sharp photos via camera but HTC One X has better aparture, so more picture on the sides.

For what purpose would anyone look at their phone screen from a 90 degree angle is beyond me really. :)
Viewing angle is an issue with Televisions and other large displays where a lot of people watch the screen together. For a device that's meant for a single person I don't see how its an "issue".
But for what it's worth the Xperia P has similar viewing angles as the Htc One X.
Also better aperture doesn't mean better picture. GSMarena heavily criticized Htc One X/One S camera quality especially after how HTC made a big deal over the camera improvements.

Here's a video showing the "multitasking bug" that the One S and One X have. Demonstrating how multitasking is poor on both these phones even with stellar hardware.

The Xperia P even has better photo and video quality than One S/One X and is better than Xperia S in low light. You can see the Xperia P sample shots yourself to compare.

EDIT: HTC One S will be available in India from June 8th onwards. Price Rs.33k

The second person who is looking from side would face problem in viewing, not the main person, and that video is of One X, having multitasking style remind me of my Apple iPhone 4. It is not a issue.

If u r not concerned with big sorage then definately HTC ONE S is the winner in recently lauched smartphones even it is better than SG SII.

@rider

LOL. One X runs on Android and not iOS. So yes it IS an issue. And both the One X and One S have the same issue.
@topic
EDIT: Apparently there is a fix released by HTC in some regions. Do check up with HTC India if the update is available in India or not.

@Richie

Well the price isn't final I guess. More info should be out by next week. Also going by mobilestore pricing, if 33k is indeed the price then it should be available in stores for about 30.5k-31k.

It should be under 30k, I love the reviews of battery backup of this device.
