HTC 'Leaking' Pictures of its New Phone?

It all started with Engadget receiving a picture which showed only a part of device. A few hours later, Slashgear was sent a picture from the same source. All this was followed by Gizmodo and Android Central getting another piece of the puzzle.

The Phone looks similar to the HTC incredible and may very well be the Incredible HD. The spy pictures show the power button, front-facing camera, speaker grille and battery door slot. We are still waiting on more pictures so we can piece together the puzzle, one picture at a time.

UPDATE: The device has finally moved out of the shadows and has revealed itself. The HTC Incredible HD is very real and tech blog BGR has some new pictures of the smartphone. Another thing worth mentioning is that the 'Incredible HD' may not even be the final name, other rumoured names are the HTC Mecha and HTC Droid Incredible HD.

As always, there is no official release date or annoucement regarding the smartphone, but most probably it will make an appearance at CES 2011.

Many companies start rumors and leak pictures just to increase the hype and boost sales.
