hp laserjet 1018 and windows 7

i have a hp laserjet 1018 printer and i was using windows xp and it worked ok , but when i install windows 7 , my laserjet 1018 is not working /....


in the device manager it shows that the device is working properly but no printer is shown...

it is driver problem ..

please help me ..

Use microsoft update under windows 7
& check if driver update is available for you printer

it should.. Win7 is very good at drivers. thats the big plus from vista.
just use update > go to optional > that will have it
