How to Write DVD-Video

I have a Sony DVD writer and Nero 6....I want to make a backup of my DVD movies....but wen I try to write DVD files from my HDD... it says that it requires some DVD-Video plugin....please help me with this...

Why dont you use DVD decrypter to rip the DVD's and also burn them to a DVD?
