how to view an ntfs partition in 98 ?

i have xp and 98 both on c: with fat32 partition and another 20 gb is captured by ntfs partition !

but i want to view my ntfs aprtition files in 98 .

how do i do it ?

is there any software ? or i have to format the drive with fat32 ?

U can view ntfs with WIN98 BUT MODIFYING IS NOT RECOMMENDED. I read somewhere in digit that it can cause data loss

plese mention in which issue it has been mentioned

and mr . Sourabh i have tried taht but i get an error message that "see if the ntoskrnl and chkdsk are installed from the same installation "

please give me a step by step process

Dude dont be lazy just have a look at the Installtion segment of the source article here

It very well works, if configured properly i may mess up wid ur drive letters and when u try to uninstall the proggie it wod further cause BSOD's

Make sure u read the document carefully before applying

Also there are no issue with it coz its read only

even if u move or copy a file on the NTFS drive it would just show tht its transferred but in reality when u check it through WIndows XP , the file is not there

So try deleting all the contents of the NTFS drive from win 98 ....hehehe

Use knoppix live cd...and see it(from win98 we can do tweaking but tis very dangerous if u have important data)
