How to take Photos from a video?

How can i take a photo while playing a video in VLC player? Is there any software also where i can take a photo while playing videos any player ..Plzz can any one let me know about this software.

VLC itself can do this. Just play the video in vlc and right click on the playing video for option.

yeah ... use the snapshot tool of VLC... but the 'seek' function of VLC isn't that great... so maybe you should give GOM player a try...

To take a snapshot of the video displayed by VLC, you just need to press the pre-defined snapshot hotkey:
