I'm using a speaker(rear port) & headphones(front port), whenever headphone is plugged in the speakers turn off, and I have to pull out the pin to turn speakers on again. Is there any way I can run main speakers with headphones plugged in the front panel?
There is a radio button, if we disable "Mute rear audio when front audio is plugged in" the other option gets activated which gives audio from both speaker and headphones. I want audio from either speaker or headphone at my will.
He wants a situation in which, where both the speakers and headphones are connected, but he gets to decide from which one the sound comes.is your problem solved or not

@OP : How about just removing the headphones when not needed? Kind of goes against your question though. Or even switching off the speakers when not needed will do the job!
But when I'm using speakers, heeadphones will remain ON. I want it to disable it via software or something, the front port on my cabinet looks kinda flimsy, thats why I don't want to insert/remove the pin repeatedly.
understood...
does your cabinet have HD audio or AC97? your cabinet model no can help...which is NZXT Gamma
which one have you connected to mobo inside? HD audio or AC97?
Even the audio port on the I/O panel of the chassis either supports HD audio or AC 97. It would be mentioned on the specifications of the cabinet.I don't get it. Isn't it motherboard that has audio?
I can't find it anywhere not even on NZXT website
Gamma - NZXT
AC97 is ancient.. most non El Cheapo modern cabinets like NZXT Gamma have HD audio front panels
