how to stop inbuilt download manager in firefox?

i wud like to no that to stop the in built download manager in firefox cos it is very slooooooooow !!!

a 4.3 mb file was downlaoded in 35 min whereas i was able to it with flashget in flat 10 mins .

You will have to install Firefox extensions in order to make it work with your Download manager. See here. Try DownloadWith 0.0.7 or OpenDownload 0.1, many download managers are supported.

Use download with, and then dload its flashget profile.

well actually u click on to tools-----extensions-------double click on downloads(u gotta install the download extension for the download manager u have)-------select the downlaed manageroptions(getright is set by default) and whoa !! u r ready

while downloading right click ------select download with -------- and start down loading..
