How to select RAM?

Hi All,
Currently I am using the below board
Intel DG31PR Motherboard - Intel G31 Express, Socket 775, MicroATX, Audio, Video, PCI Express, Gigabit LAN, USB 2.0, Serial ATA at TigerDirect.com

And below processor
Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 Conroe 2.33GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor BX80557E6550 - Newegg.com

As far as I understand, RAM selection depends on the memory support by the board. So if I look into the above link, it supports 667MHz DDR2 and 800MHz DDR2. Does that mean I should select RAM with clock speed 800MHz?

Please suggest.

Yes. Either 667 or 800 MHz will do fine. If you go for RAM with higher frequency, it will be set to 800 MHz.

yep, get the 800 Mhz ram module .. it's easier to find and has more sales value compared to 667 Mhz modules.
