- First, wipe out
C>Windows>Prefetch (OR) Start>Run> %systemroot%\prefetch
(Hope U know what it is & needs 2/3 boot-ups to take the effect)
- Then check and if needed "defrag" your main drive & if possible the "Registry" too
- Then as said, stop all "services" which are not necessary esp. that of VIRUS SCANNERS that do a boot-up scan.
- Then in BIOS Settings, disable all other boot-up devices expect your "Master" (HDD)
This is the saftest way to do it though ter's are few more "Registry" tweaks which i dont recommend.
U can try/use "Tune-Up Utilities" for defraging the "Main Drive" & "Registry" & getting rid of other junk. Its the safest one for starters
