I want to listen to radio city 91 FM on my PC. I have read here that it can be done by connecting a radio to my comp's line-in...but can anyone explain the procedure to do it?
just take a wire with pins at both ends.. the ones which we insert into the radio for using headphones..... insert one end to the headphone jack of the radio and the other to the line-in of the soundcard..... run any software like jet audio etc... now u can listen to the radio./../.
i Have a Adcom make Tv tuner card with Fm ... it even has a remote so i dont even have to near the pc .. also the sound quality is good and there is no lag as in online radio (well i do get a bit of initial time lag) ... might be worth considering.
Yes, Tv tuner card option is good. You have to just connect a wire with antana(for long distance stations). And you can also use internet radio station.
listening to radio on internet really convienient. but thats going to take a lot of MB's and my d/l limit will get over very soon. so i guess i'll stick to the 2-pins line in method until i get unlimited broadband.
thanks,
vandit , can you explain in a lil more detail? Exactly what 2pin wire is required.
and will any radio do the job, or is there any specific type required.
