how to hide my ip address???

hi,i recently heard that my ip address can be known easily when i am chatting at yahoo.is it true .i have heard about ip address hiding sftwr could u suggest me a good one.

You cant hide it over Yahoo, but you can use those public proxies for sure. IP address hiding s/wares just work for specific browsers afaik,

Using proxys is your best bet.....yet u can u se some other softwares like net annonymizer, but I wont recomend them as they take a bite of ur net-speed.
