If u r trying to delete the files/folders while the VISTA is running, then its not possible bcoz the system is using those files.

If u also hv Windows XP installed, then boot into Xp and then try to delete VISTA files/folders.

OK then run explorer as administrtor then select the file and right click on it and select properties then change the access rights for the files to full control/access and now u can delete it from XP.

Try this:
*ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/

Download the software called unlocker,
right click on the folder which you want to delete,
Unlock!!

Ok!
Do following:

1.) Boot using XP Bootable CD and enter into Recovery Console.

2.) Give commands "fixboot" and "fixmbr" one by one.

3.) Reboot, not ur Vista boot loader would be gone.

4.) Now in windows xp, u can safely delete Vista files/folders from G: drive.

haha, U can always delete Windows files from a Linux
partition!! Boot thro Mandriva Linux 2006 , and delete
whichever file you want to. As simple as that!!
