How to create a forum

HI guys...
i wanted to create my own forum but i dont know where to start. Could you please help me and give me a starting point.

You can use some free forum script like phpBB, SMF and MyBB
You can also look for some free hosting..
But if you are serious, buy a paid hosting and domain name and start forum.
