How to connect to GPRS using Desktop PC

Guys can someone help me connecting with my Airtel GPRS using my PC.
I have Lg optimus net & GS2.

download LG PC SUITE first. then Go to settings> wireless settings> tethering> select usb tethering and connect your phone to pc.(reference answer)

I don't have my regular internet connection working so I don't think will be able to download LG PC Suite. Do I need to install this on PC or mobile?
Can I use my GS2 instead?

You have to install PC suite in PC.

You'll need to set in the Advanced Initialization Settings for your Modem "Your Mobile Device" in Device Manager>Modems>Your Modem (Phone) Name>Advanced>Extra Initialization Command. In the text box provided you have to put AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","airtelgprs.com". And I suppose your problem will be solved.
