How to connect these PCs?

I want to create a home network with my and my sister's PCs.
I want to play LAN games with the network.
Can you suggest how to do it?

There are only 2 PCs
I have a Teracom router that is used to connect to BSNL broadband..It has multiple ethernet ports.It can be used as wireless also.

Or you can buy another lan card and use one lan connection for internet and another for gaming.

Thats it, u can do it like that.. but dont play games through wireless.. its too slow..

I believe that the modem provided by BSNL that has wireless connectivity can be used as wired router too.. The ones i have come across can be.
u can buy a dlink switch.
PM me to get one 2nd hand.
After getting the Dlink switch, u can configure ur modem to dial automatically using your password. One wire goes from Modem to Router. Then from Router 2 wires go to the 2 PCs. Both PCs can be used for Internet use and gaming too.

If your Router has several ethernet ports you can just connect a wire from your sister's PC to an ethernet port on the router. It'll take care of assigning IP addresses for that PC.
