How to configure Asus P5b deluce

Hello guys, now what my problem is that i cannot run the windows xp setup. It shows an error that it cannot detect the Hdd. So please tell me setting for the BIOS.
My Pc configuration:-

Mobo:-Asus P5B deluxe
HDD:- 320 Gb SATA II HDD
Dvd:- Lite on 20x
Graphics..hmmm Asus 128 Mb( I will later upgrade to 8600 gt)

I dunno about the necessary BIOS configuration, so please provide me necessary information about the same. Also tell me which Bootable Partition Manager is best for partition of HDD. Please reply me soon ..Thanx All

enter bios -> IDE Configueation -> Configure SATA as ->set it to IDE.
this will solve ur prob....

does the same configuration is applied for Installing Vista too

no u can install vista even if u enable raid and ahci cuz vista contains the drivers.i've a raid 0 setup runinng on this mobo and hav vista installed.
