How to backup Windows 7 activation(genuine WGA) files ?

I recently got my Dell laptop repaired from a Dell service centre in India. I forgot to collect the Windows 7 Installation DVD and the COA. Now I have come back to Florida, USA. Now I dont want to go back to India to get it.

I have heard that there are some files in the System folder which make the OS genuine. And if they are backed up, they can be used at a later stage to reactivate the OS and make it genuine.

I want to know about the method or software to back up my Windows 7 genuine activation files ? Please help ????

Thanks in advance...

What you heard is probably wrong.
You can install Win 7 from any Dvd. Just ask any of your relatives in India to email you the 25 digit code.

Then when you reinstall Win 7 from another Dvd, just before you activate click "change product keys"
enter your long product key.
windows will accept change in product key.

click activate. Use online version.

p.s- you can reuse a product key only upto a certain limit for reactivation. So when you reactivate, do it wisely

Bond, Desi Bond!
The help asked for is not the right way to activate Windows 7. You better contact Microsoft or have the DVD couriered to you by someone you know.
