I had recently Purchased a Curtis DVD player 1084 which has a SD card slot & a USB port.
I can able to access my flashdrive(1GB) content through it. But when I try to access the 80GB USB HDD it does not detects it. What can be the reason?

use ide 2 usb hardware ...

checkout june digit pg 160 or search the net ...

Why? When both are USB?

I think it is because the HDD does not contain any file format that is supported by the payer.

Have you got Legacy Support for USB devices switched on in the BIOS ? This is required for a external USB HDD to be accesed in DOS.

Also in your setup I think the HDD may have to be formatted as FAT32.
