how much bandwith and space are needed?

i want to know how much bandwith is needed for a popular site?
for example, digit forum

also, how much space is needed by a site as popular as digit forum?

Space: i think this site would not take more than 200 MB.

Bandwidth: Forums take very little bandwidth. But it increases as the user base increases. Also, forums use gzipped output. That saves on bandwidth a lot. I dont think it would require more than 5gb bandwidth per month.

I don't think so, Digit forum is quite popular and probably uses 20GB+ bandwidth and about 500-1000MB in storage, mostly for the MySQL database.

I guess Digit db is around 400-500 MB..

the bandwidth needed for forum like this would be say around 10-15 GB or even more than that..so its better to have acocunt with say approx 30 gig..and 1 gig space
