Great for gaming. But for just that little bit more cash, I'd recommend a GeForce 6800 instead of 6600GT. Last I checked price diff. was about 3800. Otherwise you will be hard pressed to get better bang for the buck.

At stock theres hardly a diff of 5 fps between the 6800NU and the 6600GT. The main advantage is that the 6800 OC's really well and can be pushed to higher extents. some can even be soft modded to a 6800GT as well.

dont simply post for the heck of it and confuse people buddy ...wolfff had suggested a 6800 coz the price diff wasnt much , u r suggesting a 7800 gtx .. do u know the price diff between a 6600gt and a 7800 gtx is about 15-20 k ? ... what is the point of a meaningless senseless post .. no offence meant mate.

Look.
The price difference of 3K is for AGP 6800 card from gainward which now costs around 13.5-13.8K.
The PCI express card is more expensive.
Also look at the choice of motherboard he posted before advising about softmod.
The motherboard he chose is PCI express board.
PCi express 6800 will not softmod.
Do a little search on the net. you will see that upto 1280x1024 screen resolution 6600GT is within 1-2 FPS and even beating 6800NU in many games and benchmarks.
Reason for that is higher clock and memory speeds on 6600GT which overcomes the extra pipelines of 6800. And actiually 6600GT will oc more compared to 6800s. as most 6800s come equipped with slower DDR1 memory which will not oc as much.
Also Ditch transcend and go for wither Twinmos CADT. It will give you better chance of overlcokcing if you decide to in future and costs fractionally more than Transcend.
You can even go for Hynix D43 sticks but there are lots of fake chips out there so get Twinmos.

Also if you intend to overclock now or in future then Ditch the MSI board. It has vdimm limit of 2.85V only and at such low voltage not many RAM chips overclock well. Those who does like samsung TCCD and TCC5 chips are not available here and those few which can be found costs in excess of 12K for 1GB.

Get Asus A8N-E or A8N SLI DLx board insted. its a good board and will aloow yout to supply ram voltage upto 3Volts.

When you are buying such machine just get than antec cabinet and get atleast 400 or ideally 450 Watt Antec SmartPower powersupply. PSU is very important part of the system. Never compromise on the PSU. Afterall thats what provides all juice needed for your system.
Rest of the stuff looks good. And ya make sure you get Venice core and not winchester 3200+.
Thats all for now. if you need any help let me know. If you cannot find any parts let me know. I will help as much as i can.
