HOW do i upgrade to ubuntu 64 frm 32

hey guys i hav ubuntu 7 32 bit installed in one partition and vista in another..now i hav a dvd of 64bit ubuntu 8.. if i install it frm the cd will my multi boot arrangement get messed up?? how do i upgrade? help needed urgently

Simply format your Ubuntu 7 partition and reinstall 8.04. Ubuntu installs GRUB boot loader which will automatically add entry for vista.
