How do I put on weight?

I know this is kind of weird to ask here, but I think quite a few members might have a thing or two for suggestion.

I'm really lean and I'm really fed up with that. I've been lean since I was a kid. Yeah, I've been the butt of jokes for a long time too :mad: :rolleyes: I've tried almost everything people have suggested. I eat A LOT compared to what people think. Junk food hasn't helped me as well *gigasmilies.googlepages.com/20.gif Most of the time, I read slightly more than an average person.

When it comes to exercise, I've tried few things. Yoga, a bit like aerobics, pushups, etc. I can't go to the gym as my timings are not flexible. Also, the gyms near my house are very crowded and there are no qualified instructors:!:

Could you guys suggest me things which I can do at home? I think I'll be buying dumb-bells. What should be the ideal weight? One of my friend suggested that I buy 5kg and 7.5kg. He didn't give me a satisfying answer. He just mumbled something :rolleyes: How long should I work out everyday?
Pleae give me somet tips :)

P.S-Don't expect me to post my weight here :p

Same query here. I m 5 feet 11.5 inches and my weight is around 62 kgs.
What should my ideal weight be?

putting on weight is not important
see sharuk looks just 60kg weight or dia mirza just 55kgs

looking strong with big face is important .. take cashewnuts and milk daily 200Rs

@T159-Non veg food takes a longer time to assimilate as it is slightly harder. Fruits should be easier right? Lot of body builders have suggested banana :p

Refrain from eating non-veg. Our digestive tract is not designed to digest it completely. And there is one more reason and thats conscience .

Banana is a delight to eat, yeah make banana milk shake and take during workouts.

And to be honest, I suggest you to live normally, everything that adds to your weight is fat and that wears out once you stop exercising.

Instead I would recommend you to build up stamina. Do a little bit of exercise to warm up body.

u will suffer later with belly .. smart ban be man
look at what heroes do .. they give good advise not the bakwaas fat belly people here :mad:

If you are genetically like that no one can make you fatter
Noone gets better if he/she is fatter though it may decrease ur life :D

Have a healthy maintained diet
Intake high proteins (if ur non veg eat a lot of chicken & if veg eat lots of paneer & boiled potatoes)
Als you can take soya
Be a ;little active :cool:
Exercise regularly that too for some specific hours
Don't eat in single take but after intervals

abey stamina kaha se aata sukka hai to ?

Stamina needs the training of muscle fibres and that has nothing to do with fats. Needs regular session of consistent workouts and not fat laced body.


I dont wanna give examples but there once lived a legend named Bruce Lee :D


I have seen lots of people who cant even run 1 km without feeling exhausted.

Add me to the list too... I am a vegeterian and have been lean since I was born. Height 5.9 and weight around 50. Waist of 28, And I am sure that i eat as much as my other friends eat, but yet I am thin. I hope invisible doesn't quotes my post

just start excercising man..
then u will b able to eat more and consequently will increase ur wieght...
and the most important thing in all this is how much ur digestive system can digest..
the main problem is LOOOO... :D
