hlp hlp!!! problems with the encryption in xp

i'd once encrypted my important documents in xp. but now i'm not unable to access those files. they simply say "access denied". though i log with the same login i used during encryption of the documents. my system is in NTFS.

i think once i'd cleand all those temporary and system files used by the OS. i use system mechanics for cleaning the junks. plz help.

When a user encrypts files/folders a key is made, and unless you backed up that key, you are probably out of luck.

There MIGHT be a 3rd party program out there to break it, try Google Groups.

is that login the administrator account ?
if not try with the admin account !

From what I get,either you've have the same credentials as in the case of the administrator or you should have the backed up key.
Did you format your c: drive?In which drive are those documents stored?

yes the account was the admin account. also i've not formatted the drive. i think i've deleted the key. now what should i do.???? help help!!!!!
