Hide Files - Like Windows?

Hi,

I was just wondering if I can make any folder look like The Windows or Program Files Folder in Windows. Can i do that for every folder i like... so that the files are not viewable at the first go? IF YES, HOW? :roll: :roll:

do you mean like when you open the folder it says this folder has important stuff blah blah and so modifying them can cause your system to explode etc etc

you do it by having a file called desktop.ini in your folder. its actually a customization.

Nope... not Exactly... that line appears in win 98 i think.... I am looking for the XP thing... to be exact... It says... These files are hidden and then below it is the link to show the files. Its not really a security measure... its just that i want to give other users of my PC a warning not to touch anything there!!
It appears... in the windows drive,.... e.g. C:\ if it's installed in c and the WINDOWS folder , The Program Files folder... the System 32 folder.



I HAVE tried the customisations of folders! I suspect it would require some Registry mods... but what ... i m not sure!!!!
