help: UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

hey guys............. i need a urgent help.

Yesterday, i was playing NFS2. suddenly due to power interuption, my PC was restarted. after that, BSOD has come with a message UBOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

now what can i do? should i have to format and reinstall the OS [which i don't want; i don't like to install everything again, which i have made for a long time].......

its a urgent, i have to do some very urgent work inclding my project.

in the bsod plz give us teh hexadecimal no. which appears at the bottom of the screen
it'll start with '0x' and so on

thanks anyway... thanks to QM... that helps me alot.. actually my c drive was corrupted.. when i tried to access the drive.. it says that unable to inemuration.... what i did.... difr'd with diskeeper. hen i tried to repair and fixboot... after couple of mins... my XP comes with my TEMPTATION boot screen.............. thanks goes to QueryManiac....
