Hi everyone! My friend is facing a somewhat peculiar problem with his PC. It has a 1.7Ghz AMD Sampron with 256 MB of DDR RAM and no Graphics Card. The PC is able to run all games that support this config but today he tried to install SHADE-THE WRATH OF ANGELS and the PC is showing the following error. He even checked it on another PC with the same config and the game is running fine. Thinking that a fresh installation of Windows XP would solve the problem, I formatted the HDD and re-installed the OS but the problem persists. All video drivers have been loaded. One thing that I did notice in the bios menu was that my friend has accidently set a password in the bios sometime back and although he remembers the password, even after entering the password, one is not able to access/change any thing in the bios. Is something in the bios disabled that has triggered this error? Why am I not even able to disable the password? All other games are running fine but except SHADE. Please HELP!

Shade is a very resource hungry game.Even if it loads, the fps will be drastically slow.
Regarding the bios password, simply remove the cmos battery for 10 seconds and put it back. All passwords and settings will be reset?

Does that mean that the problem lies with the bios?

See, the problem is with the function "Load Video". So, it has obviously got something to do with the graphics. I had tried it to run on my system with P4 2.4Ghz,512 MB and 845 chipset. The game ran...but it was terribly slow. Moreover, due to the slow graphics, the control was also difficult in the dark room. So, the inly option left with me was to uninstall it.

Maybe, the game is not suitable with the onboard graphics your friend has got.
