Ok,
Goto Control Panel.
Select Sound Effect Manager.
Find the Speaker Configuration from there.
From there select the 4 Channel Mode for 4 Speaker Output.
Also select Synchronise the Phonejack switch with the Speaker Settings.
Now the right side panel should show- the Green icon as Front Speaker out.,
the Blue should show Rear Speaker out and the pink should show Mic In.

Connect your cables accordingly.

Now goto Speaker test window. You can find it on the right side of Speaker Configuration.
Click on each of the speakers to find out if they are working fine.

Everything should be fine by now.
Reply here..:)

My friend has got a similar set of intex 3000w speakers.
He didn't knew the way to configure the 4.1 system.
He configured them as desktop stereo speakers(didn't made any changes to the existing configuration) and is happy with the pseudo 4.1 effect which is created without plugging in the extra black cable that came with it.;)
I checked them today. All the four speakers are working fine.

But you want the true 4.1 effect.:p So try replacing the cables with a new one. They come at a price of around Rs. 10.
__________
Have you increased the s- volumes?
they are the side speaker volume controls.

I too have got a similar problem, but with a 5.1 speaker set.
