Help on Modem with Caller ID

I have a Dlink DFM 560E external modem. I installed Phone tray free 1.2 from DIGIT Jan 2005 issue. But it is not showing caller ID (Shows N/A during a call). I used FIXCID button also in this software, with no result.
In hyper terminal (with com1 connection) the string AT#CID=1 gives OK result even then the caller ID is not being displayed. My hardware CID box is giving me the ID.

Pl help on this or suggest a modem which has the Caller ID support and available in Indian market.

I have a d link modem too but dosent show up the caller no.

i guess ur modem is not caller id capable

the caller id also depends on the service provided..
i dont know much abt bsnl..

Hey i found a site frmo dlink containing the details of caller id capable modem the caller id has been marked in stars** i wonder why ?
