Help me set-up a Media Server on an Ad-Hoc Wireless Network

Guys,

I recently purchased a Samsung Wave.

Now I want to use the Media Sharing features that it has got.
Please let me know how to configure a Media Server over an ad-hoc wireless network between my laptop and mobile.

I tried myself using WMP and PS3MediaServer but was unable to do so.

Show me the light please!!
