Hi, i'm thinking of buying a laptop.. Max budget- 43k. Went to the nearest hp store, they offered me two deals-
Hp g4 2049tx- 36.5k without anything extra. But with mouse, headset, 4gb pen drive, 2gb extra ram - 37.8k
The other one is hp g6- 2320tx- 44k. Approx 6k more for just 1.6 inch screen size and 500gb more. My main purpose is- games, movies, maybe picture editings, autocad, catia, matlab. I'm confused!! Should i spend 6k more or go for 2049tx? Please do reply, will be taking laptop in one or two days.
Thanks in advance.

hmmm, for the works I have, do I need an i5 or will i3 do the works smoothly? If you guys say i3 then I might go for g6 2231tx..-37k..
And other than hp any other recommendations? Going for hp because dell has too many problems. Lenovo has touchpad issues, Sony are just overpriced and use gfx card lower than 630m, Asus don't have latest lineup still.

Another shop's offering hp 2016tx for 40990, 2202tx for 43k and 2320tx for 44k.. I think ill be going for 2016tx as there isn't much difference hardware specs, I can install windows 8 later.. What say guys? I'm just a bit inclined towards 15' screen.. But the 2049tx offer looked really a steal.. Later on I need money to extnd warranty too..

If gaming/ programming is the priority, your graphic card will matter the most.with the Processor following as a close second.

Go to notebookcheck.Com and check their gaming benchmark list to compare graphic cards.

For your price range you should get an
i-5 ,4+ gb ram,gt 630m/Hd 7670m ,750gb HDD config.

Note:
Accessories are mostly useless.

500 gb HDD start from 3.5k

Dont buy from company exclusive stores, better prices are obtained from local multi- brand stores.( pro tip : bargain)

The first one seems to be the Better choice. But I think there are better deals than these 2 probably.

Yeah . If you are into gaming go for 15"6 screen.g6-2016tx is best. And why bother about windows 8?????

yeah but for watching movies and playing games, wont 15.6' be better? I have to accomodate everything within 43k. Not a buck more :( so was thinking of going for 2016tx + 2 years warranty extension = 43k. I can install Windows 8 later on. No big deal..

Thats why I told you to go for 2016tx. It comes with win 7hb and 15"6 screen. And Hp ids offering 2 years warranty which is certainly sweet.
