help in rig config

guyz,i am upgrading my pc for gaming.

i am thinking of buyin a 8800GTS 320 mb card,wuld dat make it future game proof???
is there a specific motherboard required for this card??
which is a good 19" CRT monitor available in the market???
wuld 4 GB ram be ideal for gamin or shuld i make it less??
any other components required????

I dont think, in this extreme fast technology, anything will going to b future proof.Everday new technology comes with many latest updates which we cant resist if n only if ...we have money to buy it.

Presently, which mobo u using ?? Is there any pci-e slot ??

For Monitor: I wud suggest u to go for Syncmaster794mg

Regearding Ram: I think 2gb is more than enough.

Whats ur budget for mobo + processor ??

Monitor: its 17" cost u less than 5000 /-

And about Gcard: 8800GTS 320 mb will work fine for 2-3 yrs...not sure abt more than this......
