1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Mostly Rendering motion graphics in Aftereffects, cinema 4d. and occasional gaming (Planning to play FIFA14, NFS RIVALS, Battlefield 4).

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 50k - 55k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows 8 / Ubuntu 13.04/13.10

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: minimum 500gb

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: I want to buy Dell S2240L 21.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor. I have the same at work and I'm comfortable with it.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: This week. as soon as I am satisfied with the config.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: No, i'll be getting it done by an assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Goa, I'm open to buying components online (mostly flipkart only. NO eBay)

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: following are some of the components I selected based on peer advice at work
MotherBoard : Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Motherboard
Processor: Intel Core i5-3470
Graphics: confused between->
====ZOTAC NVIDIA GTX 650 Ti AMP! Edition 2GB 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
====ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
RAM : Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1x8gb)
Display : Dell S2240L 21.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 500 GB Desktop Internal Hard Disk

I think the combination of processor and Motherboard isn't right. Also I am planning to add an SSD in future. may be next year.

Thanks,
anything comparable to ECS A970MA DELUXE in Gigabyte?

Also, how is the compatibility between i5 9470 and GA-B75M-D3H?
The graphic Card has to be NVidia since most adobe softwares perform best on it, and in my experience dont utilize ATI cards really well :-/

to get the comparable mobo for ECS, you may have to get asus m5 a97 evo r2.0 at 8k. gigabyte ga 970a - ud3 is also a good option ,but availability will be a problem.

i5 3470 is already EOLed.you will find difficult in finding a mobo after 2 years when your current one go kaput. in the mean while ,amd is(may be) upgradable to next gen steamroller. also for your current work loads, fx 8350 is the best bang for buck. it can render using its 8 cores. its performance will be over i5 3XXX/4XXX.

and what about combination of Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H and fx8350?
Reason behind me preferring Gigabyte is that it has better service than ECS,Asus here in Goa.

fx 8350 is an amd cpu and is not compatible with gigabyte ga b75m-d3h which is an intel mobo(only second gen intel(sandy bridge) and third gen intel (ivy bridge) cpus are supported by this mobo.). for fx 8350 ,you should go for 970/990X/990fx chipset based mobo.(cheaper variants are supported too, but is never recommended for an 8 core beefy cpu.)

ok, so considering the constraints of only using gigabyte ga b75m-d3h(mainly due to availability of amd compatible mobo with price below 7k), which Processor would you recommend me? the best one for this mobo

if you want intel, then get i5-4430- 12.6k and asus b85m g -6.3k
for gigabyte b75m, you can go with i5-3470/3570 but not recommended by me.

you can also go for fx8350 and asus m5a97 r2.0(non evo) at 7k.
