help(dll files missing)

hi fellas,

my desktop was infected wid lots of viruses and trojan due to regular downloading i made.
i installed a licensed antivirus and they were all removed.
though now an error of exescan.exe could not be located pops up and zvexescn.dll is missing each time i open an application.
i have installed two operating system (both xp2) in a drive.
and one of the xp doesn't open after this event leaving a blank screen wid only mouse arrow visible.
please help me wid this problem.

P.S. i can't afford formatting the drive.

You didn't tell which antivirus you were using, most probably Net Protector 2010

From the description i made this scenerio.

1. Both of your XP installation was infected and the Antivirus was installed in only one of the installation.

2. exescan.dll and zvexescn.dll are part of the antivirus you installed in your system and both these files were removed from your system when you ran the antivirus scan as both of them were infected.

3. Uninstall the antivirus and back up your important data files in ur pen drive or CD-Rs

4. Install a fresh copy of WinXp after full formatting your Hard Disk, install the antivirus and scan your backed up files.
