Last sunday,i losted complete data from my hard drive, because of Dell Fools,i read thrice that only C Drive will be formatted, but it erased my whole drive, what i was trying to do was restoring the Factory Settings and i was left with 1 recovery partition,750MB and 1 C drive partition with 698 GB,However i got one partition back that was E drive, labeled Work and i created Image of Disk with .DIM Extension of another drive, after trying many softwares,i gave up and deleted the Image of that Drive which i created earlier, actually i created 2 images of two volumes:work and fun and only work drive image was opening, that fun drive was not opening so i deleted that Image, now after trying several images,i can not get that Fun(labelled volume) back, however the capacity of that drive is being shown in every software but the contents are of Work Drive present there. Now what to do?How can i get my Factory partition back and those two volumes back? Please help me...it contained a lot of memories which were very important for me(Vidoes and JPEg's).Please help me please:( :(

no offence but it is common sense that "restoring factory settings" should mean the state in which laptop was shipped from factory to shop/home so obviously entire hdd will be formatted because at that time it has only a recovery partition & C drive.your only choice now is trying recovery softwares like recuva.also never write/copy/create any thing on hdd after you accidentally deleted something.if you copied those drive images back to laptop hdd already then there are very slim chances of successful recovery.for future reference always create backup of your important data on a different hard disk & never play with format/recovery/partition softwares/settings unless you are absolutely sure & have read/taken advice from various online forums.

I know i am in big trouble now,but if all the softwares fail to recover that volume, can the recovery specialists get my data back?
And,right now my windows is also not stable,if i format the c drive which is of 698 GB and partition it,would i loose the partition tables?

Data Recovery | Data Recovery Services | hard disk data recovery
specialised recovery can be very costly.since restoring factory state involves writing data to disk after formatting it chances of software recovery are not good.cost of recovery can range from few thousand to lakhs depending on the severity of situation which can only be determined after analysis of hard disk.

But even after Factory restore,i was able to create images for those two drives,i mentioned it earlier too! Also, since my current windows installation is not stable,if i format the windows again and make partitions, would it affect chances of recovery?
And i have heard about stellar,i know it's famous for being costly, but rather than going for specialized data recovery, won't it be a good option to opt for cheap recovery and save few bucks, however i know data recovery is not Cheaper at all.
