I want to buy a motherboard for the following config-
Processor- Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz
RAM- Kingston 1*2 GB DDR2 667 Mhz
Hard Disk- Seagate 250 GB SATA
Monitor- Samsung 17" Flatscreen 798 MB
Optical Drive- LiteOn LH-20A1P
Keyboard & Mouse- EX 110
Graphics card-XFX 8600GTS
Primary use will be gaming and watching hd content.Pleease reply fast.Any reply is appreciated.

Get XFX NV 650i Ultra Mobo for 6k or so.

Hmmm.. ASUS P5N- E Sli...

Dun matter even if u dun intend to use Sli... Its a nice board.. can o'clock ur 6600 easily...

i'll suggest either a P5B Deluxe or P5N32-E Sli or if can buy a Asus P5K Deluxe.
i dont prefer the Asus P5N-E Sli much cuz its SB is not covered with a heatsink.

you can always slap a HS on it no comon man its not a bad board.Also P5B Dlx n P5N32-E are premium boards man

It does not matter if they are premium motherboards but they should perform well.Sorry I did not tell you my budget,it is 10-12k .
