For gaming , the AMD Phenom x4 BE is lot better than mentioned i3. i3's arent as fast as the Phenom x4 BE.
Go with Jaskanwar's config. Perfect VFM rig.

okie 1 thing i want to ask you...already i have GTX 260 sp216 ..can i add this GPU with this rig?

i know it was good. but selling it will allow you to get better gpu or processor etc.

how old is it? comes with warranty? for how much you bought it?

that gtx 260 216 sp or popularly known as GTX 260+ is quite a good card
My advise would be that you should use this card for now and dont buy a new card
when you feel that the card is not giving the optimum performance, then sell it and buy a new one
I'm saying so because

-->its already a quite good performance card
-->AMD/Nvidia are going to launch their new series soon

Yes with no problem. I think the card wont run out of steam for a year atleast if you run games at low resolution,
By them Microsoft would bring our DX 12 and you can sell this off(which will still be in warranty) and get a good Dx 12 card :D

Bull!

Stick with the GTX 260 for the time being. Should power all recent games pretty well.

A real upgrade will be when HD7k comes out later this year.

^^ i dont think it'll be good idea to use msi 6850 PE/HD 6870 with corsair 400CX

if you don't already have it then buy a Corsair GS600 suggested by Jas , just to be on the safer side
