hdd not accessable after fixmbr command

when i fund my pc is not booting.
i just run fixmbr from recovery console.
after that i tried to reinstall the XP but after copying the files at the time of format and partation its showing that u r HDD is not accessable.
then a blue screen is comming the error.


suggest me wht to do.
its urgent.

What message you are getting to be exact?

Did you change some settings in your BIOS?
Sometimes changing hard drive related settings in BIOS gives BSOD.
Some old laptops have hard drives with IDE interface instead of SATA.
Try to change these in your BIOS.Report back.
