when i fund my pc is not booting. i just run fixmbr from recovery console. after that i tried to reinstall the XP but after copying the files at the time of format and partation its showing that u r HDD is not accessable. then a blue screen is comming the error. suggest me wht to do...

I Have Windows Vista and Kubuntu Installed on my Pc ,Now i want to remove kubuntu from my pc ?what should i do ,should go to the partation manager in vista and format the kubuntu drive?

When i try to install windows Xp, it extracts all files successfully, then 15 sec to restart then BOOM DISk Boot Error comes! Instead of that 36 min remaining! i have checked with partation magic c: is FAT32 and is set active! so is my HDD bad or i am doing something wrong!
