HDD enclosure for 2TB WD Caviar green..

any recommendations? i am looking for the thermal-take Max 5G. where can i purchase it in mumbai ?

apart from that what other HDD enclosures are good? mind you its for a 2TB bare WD caviar green hard disk..

Try the Transcend Storejet 35U... USB + eSATA in one enclosure. The enclosure itself is plastic with sides unpainted aluminium (is a wee bit heavy).

I've been using it myself with the selfsame WD 2TB drive you mentioned and can confirm that there are no compatibility issues. Also the enclosure fan is almost totally silent.

(It cost about Rs.3000 when I purchased it, it was quite a few months back though).

For hdd enclosers, you have to go to market & search for them. As very few people uses them, availability might be an issue everywhere. They cost around 2K-4K (depending on quality) but make sure it have e-sata & USB2.0/3.0 connectivity.
