I am getting the following issue in my slave Samsung IDE HDD(80GB) which I recently imported from my old dead machine.
I have an NTFS partition on the drive. Whenever I tried to access some folders, XP freezes.
All other are FAT32 partitions on the same disk and working absolutely fine,
I tried:
1. Quick Formatting(coz normal formatting took a heel lot of time and freezed the system)
2. Scanning for disk problems in XP.(XP freezed).
3. XP Disk Manager is showing the partition to be healthy.
pls help me to recover my 20 GB partition back to normal state.
