Has my net plan changed ??

Hello,
I use bsnl broadband connection . I had opted for home500 connection . On 26th june , i applied for change of plan to ul900+ . on 29th , i paid rs.900 ( they asked me to do that ) and they gave an aknowldgement & said that frm 1st july my plan will be ul900 . Today is july1st , how do i know if my plan has changed or not . i went to bsnl website( dataone.in ) and it gives me no info . The bsnl checkspeed still says my speed is 2.13mbps . Has my plan changed or not ? if not , then when will it change ?

YOu should contact the customer care. Thats what I suggest.
But still thats BSNL, they say something and do something different.

you may try going to your dataone account and clicking on the Service Order Records link. it gives you the service plan you have opted for or are currently using [in case u got more than 1 plan]

it says home500 upto 2mbps . . .

Tomorrow go to their office with the acknowledgement and tell them to see the status and take action accordingly. If u dont be at their back they will never get the work done.

I doub't that you would want to go through that. This issue can be resolved by the customer care of BSNL. In my case, at Bangalore, it took 3 working (excluding Saturday and Sunday) days for them to change the plan.
The people at the other end of the phone were quite friendly too.

hmm . i'll call first . they were friendly for me too , i have to agree . one was a sardar ji and the other guy was also frendly . but i am worried that since they change plans only on 1st of every month , will they say that the plan will take effect frm next month ??

i called . he told me to call another number . that person said to call in the afternoon . in the afternoon , i called her and she asked me to call by 4 pm . i was flaming . i had decided that i wud walk in to bsnl office and storm tomorrow. checked at 5.20 pm , the plan was changed . i am in ul900+

ya man . i have to vote gr8 for bsnl customer care . next time, i might end up fighting for the bsnl customer service when some1 says they prefer airtel coz of customer care...
