Hardisk not working

Greetings everybody!
I had an internal 500gb seagate HDD I was using it with an external case and one day it suddenly stopped working when
I connect it now it gives a beeping sound (much of an electronical beep) what is happening?
(the hard disk also fell in the case from 30cm before stopping)

look for HD TUNE HEALTH STATUS .

Did it get detected in BIOS? If yes, make a bootable linux pen drive, connect the hdd and copy the contents to other hdd asap.
If you use windows, try *findandmount.com. If it find, recover the partitions and copy the contents to other hdd asap.

Will these methods work when I connect the drive through USB or do I have to connect it directly to sata connectors ?

Try connecting directly by SATA . If you can boot, backup the data ASAP. Also check drive's health by crystaldiskinfo.
