Hello guys.
Few days ago when I turned on my pc(after 2-3 hours),the hard disk was not detected. I tried it elswhere but I encountered same problem.I also changed my IDE connectors but also of no use.
My hard disk was samsung 40gb SV0412H (3600RPM)
I have an P3 1000MHZ &ASUS MOTHERBOARD.
What can be the problem ?
How can I recover my data?
Is it of no use now?

i think u got a hard drive failure. do not try to repair it yourself
go to the samsung service center
try them to remove the bug

God bless you if you have the hard disk under warranty. If not, then bless the manufacturers for buying a new hard disk.

You can open your cabinet & disconnect the power or data cables, reconnecting them again. This can solve a problem many times. Check your BIOS to see if your PC really discovers your hard disk or not.

As Cyborg told I had installed HDD LIFE software on my new Hard Disk & is working fine.
