Hard disk and GPU Buying Advice

I want a good 500gb-1tb hard disk external and a good graphics card for 5k

Both Western Digital and Seagate 1TB HDD are available for 4K. But i would advise Western Digital as I had bad experience with Seagate recently, though I got my HDD replaced.

though i've seen more seagate drives fail than WD ones.
