graphics card problem pls help...

i have
ASUS P5G4IT-MLX motherboard

Intel G41 chipset
and
GeForce 8400 GS( 1024mb/MO DDR3 ) graphics card...

Core 2 duo E7500

i have got error msg is
"Display driver NVIDIA windows kernel mode Driver,Version 259.15 stopped responding & has successfully recovered "

some time screen is blink or PC got hang .....

When will this happen? When you are playing a game? watching a movie?

Try updating the drivers. v259 is old.

@milanlahatre hey bro i also got the same prblm when i had 8400 GS....i just installed the default CD drivers and it worked out fr me...

Well, there is high chance that some of the memory locations of the Graphics memory have been corrupted. It is same as the problem of "ATI display driver had been stop working and has been recovered". To check if the card is faulty, check if the problem is occurring with another card.

I had faced the problem with my HD 5770.
